Introduction
So finally I have completed Bloodhound Season 2 which has a total of 8 episodes, and each episode is quite long, around 55 to 60 minutes. So it will take you a lot of time to watch this series. Let’s talk about whether you should watch this series or not.
Should You Watch Season 1 First?
For those who haven't watched Season 1 yet, let me tell you that it is a very good series, do watch it. In Season 2, we get to see a different story. You can say that even if you haven't watched Season 1, you can easily understand this season. So in both seasons, we get to see different stories and different character setups.
Story Overview
In this season, we get to see the story of our heroes, both the brothers who are actually not real brothers, but they live peacefully with their family and have made a lot of progress in life. But in the meantime, there is an entry of a dangerous villain who has a secret game running on the dark web.
This game is based on boxing, called IKFC, in which millions of dollars are invested. The villain offers them a lot of money and invites them to join his game. But as usual, they refuse because it's wrong. After that, the villain goes after them in every situation, forcing them to play his game so he can earn money. If they don’t agree, he threatens to kill everyone one by one. His primary target is to kidnap their mother and force them.
What happens next is something you have to watch yourself. I have not given any spoilers, so don’t worry. You will have a lot of fun watching the series.
Action & Fight Sequences
If you liked Season 1, then you will definitely like Season 2. And even if you didn’t like Season 1, there’s still a strong chance you will enjoy this one.
One thing you will notice in every episode is the fight scenes. Whenever there is a fight, you will feel that it is amazing. The fight sequences are extremely well done. The punching and boxing feel very real. It almost feels like you are watching a professional boxing match.
I’m not sure whether VFX/CGI has been used or the actors have trained that well, but the execution is impressive. There is absolutely no shortage in the action department.
Production & Quality
Along with that, the production quality of the series is very good. Every scene looks visually appealing. The story is also strong, and the villain of this series is very dangerous.
Compared to Season 1, this season feels bigger and louder. You will see bigger villains, higher risks, and more psychological tension.
Weak Points
If we talk about some small weaknesses, the series may feel a little stretched. Personally, I felt that if they had removed two episodes, it would have been even better.
Also, the emotional punch feels slightly less in this season. However, this is not a major negative.
Final Verdict
Overall, I would say this series is around as good as Season 1. I won’t compare too much because I really liked Season 2. So definitely, you will also like this series.
It is available in multiple languages, including Hindi. You will hear some abusive words in the series, not too much, but they are used where needed.
